Pam Becker is an occupational therapist who has worked in pediatrics for 12 years in rural and urban centres in Manitoba. Pam received her Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Occupational Therapy in 1999. Working with children in schools, homes and daycares, she sees the importance of play in a child’s life and recently completed her Master’s in Occupational Therapy with research about the usability of playgrounds for children with disabilities. She is passionate about supporting the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights who states ‘play is a right of all children’.
